We also really enjoyed exploring the local region: a hidden gem that most people drive past on their way to the Highlands! The whole place and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Very rustic feel to it with so much character.
The large living area downstairs was our favourite, getting cosy in-front of the big fire place with a glass of wine and just appreciating the peace was brilliant.
It’s totally chilled at the mill and there is no wifi so we got to really switch off. You will get signal on your phone at certain areas in the house so you’re not completely shut off but to be honest our phones were rarely touched.
The hot tub and sauna are an absolute must!
Liz the local chef made us a caramel torte and ice cream which was to die for - I would defo recommend getting Liz to cook for you or make a dessert!

We didn't really use the downstairs lounge - it was a bit too big for us, but would make a great party space. We settled in the upstairs lounge with the TV and some of the DVDs that were supplied. The waterfall and grounds were incredible - especially after the storms! Just be sure to be careful if you have young children running around.

  The Mill was a great find for our family, there were 8 of us, 6 adults and 2 kids. Everyone loved the place. We BBQd on the first night, there... read more is limited outdoor furniture but we’d noticed this from pics so took our own.

The grounds are great for exploring and pretty private.

The house was big enough for three couples and two kids not to be under each other’s feet.

The fridge was a standard fridge which for a weekends worth of food and drinks was a little small but we managed.

The two futons were also a little uncomfortable for those sleeping on them.

Overall we had a fab weekend in this amazing place and as long as you don’t mind the odd spider would definitely recommend it.
