The Mill itself was clean, tidy and comfortable, but it's the grounds that really make the place. The garden is huge, and absolutely amazing - the stream, the waterfall, the hot tub, what has been planted there - it all makes it a really special place.

We also weren't short of day trips as the area surrounding the Mill is also great. Thanks so much Lorraine (and Mama and Kaya).

As a family we tend to look for a different place to stay each time we go away, but we were so impressed and delighted with our stay that we will definitely be returning! The grounds are great for exploring and pretty private.

The house was big enough for three couples and two kids not to be under each other’s feet.

The fridge was a standard fridge which for a weekends worth of food and drinks was a little small but we managed.

The two futons were also a little uncomfortable for those sleeping on them.

Overall we had a fab weekend in this amazing place and as long as you don’t mind the odd spider would definitely recommend it.

The starry night sky is beautiful too.
The garden was a great spot for the circus skills; lots of fun for grown ups as well as kids.
The mill itself is rustic and charming. It's a huge space - easily absorbs people. There were 8 of us and we didn't even use one of the living rooms except for the sofa bed.
Two or three nights isn't enough time to enjoy the mill. I'd happily stay there again and for a whole week.
